Short: (V1.40) Checks *all* links in HTML pages Author: fsoft@intercom.it (Fabio Rotondo) Uploader: fsoft intercom it (Fabio Rotondo) Type: comm/www Version: 1.40 Architecture: m68k-amigaos - Introduction - CheckLink is a program I have written because I was completely fed up of fixing my Web pages for broken links. Even if I checked my Web pages locally, porting them on my provider's Hard Disk, would cause some of them not to work because my provider works with Unix machines, and that DOS do make distimption between UPPER and lower chars. So, while on my beloved Amiga everything used to work fine, mirroring my data on that Silicon Graphics used to create problems. Not more. :) Now using my CheckLink, I am able to check all my HTML files agains broken links, and, guys, it is incredibly smart!! --------------------------------------- Features - Extremely fast. - Reliable. - Checks for links in hrefs, maps, frames... - Checks for images. - Understands also "Mailto:", "http:", "PROGDIR:", CGI Scripts, PERL scripts... - Recursive (scans _all_ files related to the first one). - Smart: does not check a file twice. - Configurable.
