Short: Easy to use GUI FTP client for Amiga OS4+ Author: Magnus Lilja, Joachim Birging Uploader: Joachim Birging Type: comm/tcp Version: 1.935 Replaces: comm/tcp/AmiFTP-1.900-OS4.lha Architecture: ppc-amigaos >= 4.0.5 *** After a tip from Vicente Gimeno, Guru Meditation sought out Magnus Lilja and talked to him about his AmiFTP program. Shortly thereafter, Mr Lilja dug up his old Amiga from the closet and managed to find the old sources. These were sent to us in order to continue the work on this great program. Joachim Birging has been busy reworking the code to be OS 4 compliant and now is the time to let you all try it out. *** Title AmiFTP Version 1.935 Description AmiFTP is an easy to use ftp-client with a GUI built on the ReAction system. Some of the features are: * Easy to use * Localized (No catalogs available at the moment. English is built-in) * Aminet-mode that lets you browse the RECENT-file in an easy way * ARexx interface * Resume transfer * Multiselect when up/downloading files * Caches the latest directories * Has hotlist with submenus * Online AmigaGuide-help * Toolbar using the AISS images! History 1.935 (released 2008-01-18) =========================== Lots of bugfixes, related to uninitialised prefs. Fixes to PubScreen options. CLI arguments fixed. Also fixed "Docky" argument, it only worked as a tooltype before. Added a log listview at the bottom of the window. Replaces the shell window used before. Check it out from the main prefs. Dropping files on the docky icon will now upload those files, same as when it's iconified. New icons by Martin 'Mason' Merz 1.900 (released 2007-09-04) =========================== Ported AmiFTP to OS4 by Joachim Birging. Added AmiDock support. Use the new tooltype DOCKY to enable it. Also changed prefs to use application.library instead of the old IFF format. The old format can still be imported from the settings menu. Small changes to the GUI to reflect ReAction changes made in OS4. This is an old ClassAct program, remember. Changed the old images in the SpeedBar to use Mason's AISS images instead. Removed all ReqTools.library references and changed them to either ASL or ReActions Requester class. Added support for AmiUpdate. Fixed the fuelgauge in the transfer window. Added "Save last dir visited" checkbox to the site edit window. AmiFTP can now save the last dir you were in. Added Save prefs silently option to main prefs. Removed the buttons at the bottom of the window. Since SpeedBar can be text-only now you can configure AmiFTP to use text-only buttons at the top instead. Replace string + button with GetFile/GetFont where appropriate. Added mouse wheel support in main window and site list. Requirements AmigaOS 4.0 or higher. A running TCP/IP stack. PNG icon module installed. Distribution AmiFTP is freeware. Author Joachim Birging e-mail: jocke.birging@gmail.com Bugreports and feature requests e-mail: amiftp@gurumeditation.se
