Short: Uses 'Play16' to play cdda raw samples Author: walternn@studi.informatik.uni-stuttgart.de (Norman Walter) Uploader: walternn studi informatik uni-stuttgart de (Norman Walter) Type: mus/play Version: 1.1 Requires: play16 Architecture: m68k-amigaos This little shell script uses 'play16' to play cdda samples. Background: If you download cdda files from audio cd, you will get raw files. These files have no header and so a player software has to know some information about the file format. In case of cdda, the player has to know that the sound file is a 16 Bit sample (in most cases Little Endian format), has two tracks and the sampling frequence is 44.1khz. If you dont want to type all these parameters in the command line, use this script! Installation: Copy cdda_raw_play to where ever you want. Requirements: You will need 'play16' in C: Features: If you have not allready 'play16' in C:, the script will download it for you from Aminet using OpenURL.
