Short: Trancy mind trip octamed module Author: imugford@box.satech.net.au Uploader: imugford box satech net au Type: mods/med Replaces: mods/med/Parallax.lha Architecture: generic Uploaded: (9-10-1996) ` Parallax ' By - Homer J E-mail: imugford@box.satech.net.au S-mail: P.O.Box 608, Semaphore 5019 South Australia, Australia This mod took me about two and a half days to write. From the basic idea work, through sample editing/mixing, tracking and final touches, to the finished piece. It has a trancy sort of feel to it with some nice chords and analog rhythms. Note: To really appreciate the nice sound of this mod, (especially the quiet basses) listen to it through a stereo and use double bass and surround sound if you have them. Geez, i don't expect much, huh? :) All samples, except for the two voice ones, are taken from other mods. Following is a list of some of the samples and, according to my readme and text directories, where they came from and who wrote the tunes. --Sample-----No.(s)---Module name------------Author-- Chords (5,6,m) The End (xm mod) CSM Snare (7) Depths of your Dreams Orpheus Choir (8) Tears of the Forest Acechan Choir (b) Chaotic Dawn Echo Droplet (g) Naff Jungl kb ? Bass Stab (i) Der letzte versuch M&M Das Dream Team Analog (n) Tricky DJ Tek.B Analog (o) Atrocitation Counterpoint I have tried to credit as many samples as i can. Thanks to all above (and others) who provided these fine samples. I hope they don't mind too much. Quiz Time: Am i dreaming, or did the mod `Chaotic Dawn' appear on the "past" table of Prelude Pinball? (i think it did) If you know otherwise, or can confirm this, then a small E-mail would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. E-mail me for comments, suggestions, module and/or sample swapping, or just for a chat (yes, i am that bored). With over 40 mb worth of samples and 194 mb of modules, i have lot to swap. Some of the samples are rather good, some are average, and some are downright crap. I guess the same could be said for the modules! :) Burp. }{øm@® j ¶ß^þ
